MeatMaze is a high-stakes, frantic escape game developed in one week for a gamejam. You and your feathered friends find yourselves trapped in a fully automated, state-of-the-art slaughterhouse. The machinery is cold, the blades are sharp, and the exit is never in the same place twice.

🐔 Features

• Co-op or Solo Survival: Play alone or team up with friends to navigate the industrial carnage.
• Cluck-to-Communicate: No voice chat. No text. Use your natural chicken instincts (and a variety of clucks) to coordinate your escape.
• Procedural Peril: Every run is different. The slaughterhouse rearranges itself constantly, ensuring no two escapes are the same.
• Escalating Chaos: The further you get, the harder the machines get. How long can you survive the grind?
• Full Controller Support: Play with Keyboard & Mouse or plug in a gamepad for maximum maneuverability.

🌐 Multiplayer Instructions

To ensure a smooth connection to the coop-slaughter, please follow these steps:

1. Launch Steam: Ensure Steam is running in the background before opening the game.
2. Host a Match: One player selects "Host" from the main menu.
3. Share Your ID: The host must provide their Steam Profile ID to the other players.
4. Join the Flock: Other players enter the Host's ID to join the lobby.
5. Don't Be Late: Once the slaughterhouse doors open and the game begins, no new players can join the session!
